The weather is an important consideration to most residents of Berneray. As the main means of living are crofting (small-small farming) and fishing, so the tides, rain, sun and wind have an effect on what is done (and can be done).

Weather forecasts

The Met Office provide forecasts for the next 24 hours for inshore waters and for areas further out to sea (the shipping forecast).
