Seaglass designsHand crafted decorative stained-glass panels and light catchers to hang or fix to windows.
Berneray life, land, and seascapes provide the inspiration for my designs. Panels depict fishing boats, thatched croft cottages, and standing stones, or the lovely wild flowers, seabirds, and swans. The glass lends itself beautifully to the hues of the sea - deep blues, greens, and shimmering turquoise. To our skies also, at times stunning sunsets in glowing reds and orange streaked with golden yellow; at other times restful pinks and mauves intermingled with subtle greys. Shells, sea glass, and small pieces of pottery found on our island shore are incorporated into some of my designs.
