18 Borve

18 Borve is in the west of Berneray. Most rooms have views over the machair to the cockle beach. Spectacular sunsets over the dunes are frequently seen from this house, which is a pleasant 20 minute walk from the three mile west beach.

The house has four bedrooms: 3 doubles (1 downstairs) and 1 single. A cot and child's playpen are available. There is a living room with TV, and a well-equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker, washing machine and microwave. There is a freezer in the porch.

There is a downstairs bathroom with bath and toilet, and also a shower room. Heating is by storage heaters; electricity is charged according to meter readings taken at the start and end of occupation.

The property is let in periods of a week (Saturday to Saturday). Dogs are allowed (please be aware that the house is in the middle of an area of sheep farming).

Smoking is allowed but not in the bedrooms. Towels and linen are provided and are changed weekly.

Tariff 2010

June/July/August: £320 per week including electricity and gas
Rest of the year: £280 per week including electricity and gas
